Welcome to MaternityQx

As of 2021, nearly 800 women worldwide died daily due to conditions linked to pregnancy and childbirth. A significant proportion of these fatalities are concentrated in low and lower to middle income countries.* In the context of maternal mortality, the primary cause of death for most women is due to complications arising during and after pregnancy and childbirth.

What compounds this issue is that these conditions and complications are largely preventable and treatable. Recognizing the urgent need to address this critical issue, Qmetis introduces MaternityQx—a suite of evidence-based decision support tools designed to assist healthcare providers in treating the root causes of maternal mortality: hemorrhage, cardiovascular and coronary conditions, cardiomyopathy, infection, embolism, mental health, preeclampsia and eclampsia.
